WELCOME TO “RESTING IN HIS SHADOW”
It is my intention that survivors and warriors who visit here be encouraged, inspired, and given hope. For those who are enduring, I pray you will assurance, strength, and commonality.
“Survivors” are not only those who have been healed, cured, and have beaten cancer by the grace of God; but include those who continue to survive while continuing to fight. They may be women who are being treated for metastasized cancers, triple-negative cancer, and others. “Warriors” may be patients just beginning treatments, who are continuing on that journey, or even those who choose to fight for us and stand with us.
Most of all, I hope to share the love of Christ Jesus and our heavenly Father who fights for us as in Exodus 14:14 “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
He intercedes for us Romans 8:34: “Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life–is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.”
He loves us like no one else can: Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
He abides with us: John 15:9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.”
He answers your prayers: Hebrews 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
He even will give you purpose in your trials: 2 Corinthians 1:3- 4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Breast cancer links are available on the site. Sometimes, informative posts will be added. I hope to develop the blog more to reach out to others. Welcome!
